Being the son of a shoe manufacturer, I was first exposed to product design at a young age when my brother and I drew shoes for ourselves so my father could make for us at the factory he worked at, as an alternative to buying us expensive name-brand shoes. Since then, I fell in love with the magical transformation from a simple sketch on paper to something tangible.

I’ve worked in the Design industry for over 12 years after my study at Art Center College of Design. Upon graduation in 2008, I worked for several notable design consultancies including Fuseproject and Astro Studios. I joined Pip Tompkin Studio in 2010, where I gained design experiences on a large range of products for various clients from tech giants to startups. During my time there, I’ve also co-founded our in-house brand, Mr. Pip, and led the launch of the award-winning product, Double Cross. I’m currently working as a Design Director at ThreeSixty Group, a brand house where I help define and develop products for Sharper Image, FAO Schwarz, Discovery, and other cross-category brands.

I have a purist approach to design, I am obsessed with problem solving, and I always have an eye for beauty. Creating products that add value to people’s lives will always be my guiding principle as a designer.
