Creating A Brand New Brand.

Mr. Pip is a new brand with the goal of drawing people around the world back to face-to-face gameplay and social interaction. Double Cross is a modern re-imagining of the classic dice game that’s been played around the world, known as many different names including- Liar’s Dice, Bluff, Mexicali, and Perdo. The design provides a holistic form that embodies the function of the game, 6 cups and a main hub that contains 30 playing dice, presenting it as an elegant object that doubles as décor. Mr. Pip’s Double Cross invites players of all ages to come together and play. When not in use, the game assembles into a beautiful and curious object, sparking conversations and serves as a reminder to play.

Making Pulp A Non-Fiction.

With a minimalistic approach to designing Mr. Pip's products, our mindset was to make “Fewer Better Things.” This philosophy was applied to every element of the product, including the packaging, which is made from environmentally conscious molded paper pulp, which can be recycled, or will decompose, helping to stop the pollution of the world for our children. The packaging also utilizes the iconic form of the product, which tessellates and stacks to reduce shipping and storage volume by 1/3 compared to a traditional box, reducing our consumption of precious energy, and the overall carbon footprint of the product.
